Dive Team

DiverPublic safety diving is inherently dangerous. Its unusual demands create the need for the high degree of training, and a thorough knowledge of diving techniques and recovery procedures. In most cases, recovery dives are conducted in water with zero visibility, contamination, and many other hazardous conditions.

The Sheriff's Office Dive Team is trained to the level of proficiency, with equipment and resources available, to facilitate safe diving rescues when possible, and safe recoveries when rescues are not possible. The primary responsibility of the Dive Team is to provide expert diving support for law enforcement.
