How do I bond someone out of Jail?
Persons who have been lawfully detained and are allowed bonds can be released with the presentment of cash for the total amount of the bond or with a surety bond presented by a Bonding Agency registered with the Flagler County Clerk of Court. Cash bonds may be presented in the form of Cash or Money Orders. Money Orders are to be made out to: Flagler County Inmate Trust Fund. The Inmate's Name and Booking Number shall also be included. Surety bonds may be negotiated through a Bonding Agency which may be located in the Phone Book. The Inmate Facility personnel cannot recommend a bonding agency. BONDS ARE ACCEPTED 24 HOURS A DAY.
How long will it take to bond someone out of Jail?
In the event of multiple arrests or releases, the process can be lengthy. All efforts will be made to release offenders quickly. It can take several hours to release individuals due to the numerous checks and balances used to ensure proper release procedures are being followed, and that the correct individual is being released. It is the facility's goal to release offenders within one (1) hour of their bonds being posted.
Can an individual call from the booking area?
During the admission process, inmates are permitted reasonable access to a telephone in order to contact their attorney, family members or others. Phone calls are by collect calls only. If an offender remains in Jail after the admission process, family members or friends must set up an account with Paytel Inmate Phone Systems ( #1-800-729-8355) for the inmate to place outgoing collect calls.
What can I send in the mail?
4. What can I send in the mail? Written correspondence in the form of a postcard (minimum size of 3 ½" by 4 ¼ " but no larger than 4 ¼" by 6"), general letters in an envelope, pictures no larger than 5x7 in size, publications and money orders will be accepted through facility mail. Enclosures such as threats or escape plans correspondence will not be allowed.
What is the Mailing address of the Detention Facility?
Correspondence being mailed to inmates must include the Inmate's Name, Booking Number and the name and address of the facility. Letters with no return address will be placed in inmate's property. The mailing address for the Detention Facility is:

How can I find out an Inmate's charges and/or bond amount?
This information can be obtained by contacting the inmate Reception (386-586-4864/4871) during normal hours of 8 a.m., to 6 p.m. on weekdays. Booking will provide the same information after 6 p.m. and during weekends. Or log onto www.myfcso.us - inmate search.
What can I bring to an Inmate?
Only Money Orders, Prescription Medications, Plastic framed Prescription eye-glasses and one set of court trial clothes may be brought to the facility. Inmate uniforms and personal hygiene items are provided by the facility or may be purchased through the inmate commissary. Items such as tennis shoes, additional t-shirts, underwear, socks etc. may be purchased through the inmate commissary. Prescription medications in original bottles shall be accepted 24 hours a day.
Where is the Flagler County Detention Facility located?
The Flagler County Detention Facility is located adjacent to the Flagler County Sheriff's Office Operation Center in west Bunnell off of State Road 11. Access to the facility can be gained by depressing the call box to the left of the Main Gate entrance and advising the purpose of the visit.
How do I find out an inmate's court date?
Misdemeanor offenders are provided their next court date before or after their initial first appearance, or before being released from custody. Offenders charged with felony charges are scheduled for court appearances by the Flagler County Clerk of Court - Misd (386-313-4476), Felony (386-313-4472).
When can I get fingerprinted?
Fingerprints are conducted at the Detention Facility by appointment only on Tuesdays and Wednesday's from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Call (386) 586-4871 or (386) 586-4864 to schedule an appointment and obtain additional information.
