Criminal Investigations Division

The Investigations Division consists of the Investigations Unit and the Narcotics Enforcement Team. Detectives and Investigators are on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week, on a rotation basis, to respond to emergency investigative needs, but are normally available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The primary function of the Investigations Unit is to conduct follow-up investigations of crimes reported by Road Patrol. Cases are reviewed by an Investigative Supervisor and screened for solvability factors. Cases meeting the required solvability factor are then assigned to specialized divisions of the investigations unit based on the type of crime. Members of CID work in conjunction with the Crime Analysis Unit and the community in order to solve crimes and create a safer community for the citizens of Flagler County.
