Deputies said the woman failed several field sobriety tests. She was placed under arrest and her seven-month-old son and nine year-old daughter were released to their grandmother who arrived at the scene.

The man’s girlfriend said she was pushed down and sat on by her boyfriend. Deputies said the woman had red marks and scrapes on her face. The couple admitted to have been drinking earlier in the evening at a Daytona Beach bar.

Deputies said bill appeared to be counterfeit because the print was not clear and the paper was very thin. |

When deputies attempted to remove the woman at the request of the homeowner, she kicked and tried to spit at deputies. She was transported to the Flagler County Inmate Facility. Deputies said while they were on scene, another family member, apparently became upset over the disturbance and began hitting her head against a wall until she lost consciousness. She was transported to Florida Hospital Flagler for treatment. |

Corrections deputies found a prescription pill in the man’s pocket.

Deputies reported heavy smoke was coming from the rear driver’s side of the bus. The passengers had been evacuated and gas to all the pumps was turned off. The charter company based out of Tampa sent another bus to pick up the passengers and the bus was later towed.

A 17-year-old Palm Coast girl was cited for having no valid driver’s license following a traffic stop on East Moody Boulevard in Bunnell. The deputy said the teenager was driving at a speed of 46 miles per hour in a 35 mile an hour zone. After he stopped her, the teen admitted she had never had a driver’s license. The teen was released to the custody of her mother.

An Ormond Beach teenager was charged with shoplifting from Walmart on Cypress Point Parkway. The store’s asset protection associate reported the 17-year-old who was accompanied by three other juveniles, selected health and beauty products along with four packs of socks. The merchandise was concealed inside a purse of one of the other juveniles. The teen was charged and released at the scene.

The deputy’s portable radio was damaged when the man attempted to prevent the deputy from calling for assistance. Once he was handcuffed, deputies also found a small amount of marijuana in his pockets.

It was determined that the two students who found the device did not have PE at that same time and would not have had access to the device. The IPod was returned to the owner.

There were no serious injuries reported and the 65-year-old man was transported to the Flagler County Inmate Facility.

Deputies were called to a home on rippling Brook Drive in Palm Coast when the homeowner reported finding a one-year-girl wandering through his yard. Deputies canvassed the area and located the child’s father down the street. The father said he had fed the girl lunch and thought she was watching a movie. The father said he apparently fell asleep after working the overnight shift at a local restaurant. The incident was reported to the Division of Children and Families.

Deputies were called to a home on Plain View Drive where a woman told them she was arguing with the father of her children when he complained that she was on the phone with another man. The man reportedly swung at the woman, ripping her wig off. The woman then tried to fight him off and threw beans and meat at him. The man then kicked the pot out of her hand, causing the food to spill on her, deputies reported. The man was not on the scene when deputies arrived so no statement was taken from him. The woman was not seriously injured although deputies reported she was covered in beans and sauce.

A check of the man’s license showed it was suspended once in 2010 and then again in June 2011.

Deputies charged the teen and he was trespassed from the shoe store on State Road 100. |

The store’s loss prevention manager said he observed one woman selecting an energy package and placing it into her purse. The other woman reportedly took hair care products and left the store without paying for them. Deputies were able to locate the women in their rental car and they found additional stolen Walmart merchandise in the trunk. The value of the stolen items was estimated at $311. |

Deputies said several jewelry boxes had been opened and emptied. A side exterior door had pry marks which may have been how the burglars entered the home. |
