Current Budgets: 2008-2009 Budgets

This division is responsible for overseeing the $22 million budget that funds the entire operation of the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office and the Inmate facility.
Linda Bolante, division director, serves in the dual capacity of chief financial officer and grants writer. In 2008 grants totaling more than a ½ million dollars were awarded to the Sheriff’s Office.
A significant grant was the "Cops Secure our Schools". It is a Community Oriented Policing grant that was used to install cameras in the High School, a counseling program in the schools, and a after school project.
The total for this project was $473,716 including match from the Sheriff’s Office and the Flagler County School Board.
