To All Retired Law Enforcement Officers;

The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office has received an overwhelming amount of inquiries regarding an additional HR 218 handgun qualification. It is the intention of Sheriff Manfre to offer this qualification once a year, in March, at no cost to Flagler County residents.

With that in mind we understand that we have to transition into this mindset, and will be offering a second qualification this year only. The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office will conduct a second HR 218 qualification in October of 2013.

Flagler County residents will be given priority to qualify and all non-county residents will be subject to availability and a fee to cover the cost of instructors. Please refer back to our agency website for additional information and the required paperwork.

There will be no additional qualifications offered until October.
