Commend an Employee
When you receive service from the Flagler County Sheriff's Office that you feel is worthy of a commendation or you wish to commend the actions of any Sheriff's Office employee, you may submit information in the following manners:
• Call our communication section at 386-313-4911 and ask to speak with the employee's supervisor and verbally communicate your praise; or
• Write a letter to Sheriff James L. Manfre explaining your appreciation for the employee's actions (address: 1001 Justice Lane, Bunnell, Florida, 32110,) or
• E-mail –
Commendations we receive are forwarded to the employees' immediate supervisor and the employee is notified of your gratitude. The comments are then recorded in the employees personnel file. Commendations are forwarded through the employees' chain of command for further consideration by the agency awards committee.
The goal of the Sheriff's Office is to deliver quality service to the residents of Flagler County. It is critical for us to know of any concerns you may have regarding our employees and the service that they provide. We are dedicated to protecting the rights of all citizens, regardless of race, age, sex, nationality or religion.
If you feel that an employee has acted in an unprofessional manner, we encourage you to report the matter. Once a complaint is received, rest assured that an objective investigation will be conducted in accordance with Sheriff's Office policy as well as all state and federal laws. If a concern is substantiated appropriate discipline, remedial training or other corrective action will occur.
