The Flagler County Emergency Communications Division is a consolidated emergency communications center serving all public safety agencies in Flagler County. The Communications Division is comprised of 16 communications specialists, 4 communications shift supervisors, and a civilian manager.
These dedicated personnel are responsible for receiving and processing all calls for public safety assistance within Flagler County. Additionally, all communications specialists are trained to provide pre-arrival medical instructions to callers experiencing a medical emergency.
The Emergency Communications Division is equipped with modern technology including a computer aided dispatch system, a Phase II compliant telephone system, and a mapping system which allows them to instantly view where all responders are located. The personnel who work in the communications center are dedicated to keeping both the public and responders safe.
