The Palm Coast Precinct opened in May 2013 and is conveniently located just steps away from the City of Palm Coast Offices located in City Market Place in Palm Coast.
Construction of the new facility was done in record time with the cooperation of the City of Palm Coast Public Works Department, local licensed contractors and Sheriff's Office personnel. The new precinct is roughly 2600 sq. ft. in size nearly doubling that of the previous Old Kings Road location
Senior Commander Mark Carman is the Executive Commander responsible for the Palm Coast Service District, the Citizens Observer Patrol and the coordination of all Special Events.
The Precinct is staffed Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. by a sworn law enforcement officer and volunteers from the Sheriff's Citizen Observer program. Personnel are available during business hours to answer questions from the public.
The Precinct also has a full time records clerk who is able to provide residents with copies of reports. The Precinct houses the offices of the Sheriff's Traffic and Motors Unit and Community Outreach Unit.
The Precinct provides fingerprinting services on most days. The cost for these services is $5.00 for electronic submissions and $7.00 for ink fingerprint impressions. Notary Public Services are free. Gun and Concealed Weapons Permit Applications are also available. Residents may obtain or file a police report, arrange for special details for police services, request a vacation watch, VIN Verification or citation sign-off.
