The purchasing office plays a crucial role in the administering of policies regarding the procurement of goods and services for the operation of the Sheriff's Office. It does this by centralizing the procurement function to obtain needed items in the most economic, efficient, and effective manner possible consistent with current policies, practices and law governing the acquisition process.
This office is also responsible for the annual inventory and accountability for fixed assets as well as disposable property.
Flagler County Sheriff's Office will make purchases at the lowest possible cost with the quality necessary to provide the best service to the public allowing preference to local vendors where competition allows.
The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office is currently auctioning four (4) automobiles and one (1) SUV. These vehicles range in years from 2003 – 2008.
