Where is the Flagler County Detention Facility located?
The Flagler County Detention Facility is located adjacent to the Flagler County Sheriff's Office Operation Center in Bunnell off of State Road 11. A call box is located outside of the facilities gates that will allow you to contact facility personnel to gain admittance into the facility.

How do I bond someone out of Jail?
Persons who have been lawfully detained and are allowed bonds may be released upon the presentment of cash for the total amount of the bond or with a surety bond presented by a Bonding Agency registered with the Flagler County Clerk of Court. Cash bonds may be presented in the form of Cash or Money Orders. Money Orders are to be made out to: Flagler County Inmate Trust Fund. The Inmate's Name and Booking Number shall also be included. Surety bonds may be negotiated through a Bonding Agency which may be located in the phone book. Inmate Facility personnel cannot recommend a bonding agency. BONDS ARE ACCEPTED 24 HOURS A DAY.

How long will it take to bond someone out of Jail?
In the event of multiple arrests or releases, the process can be lengthy. All efforts will be made to release offenders as quickly as possible. It can however, take several hours to release individuals due to the numerous checks and balances that must be used to ensure that proper release procedures are being followed, and that the correct individual is being released. It is the facility's goal, when possible, to release an offender within one (1) hour of their bond being posted.

Can an individual call from the booking area?
During the admission process, inmates are permitted reasonable access to a telephone in order to contact an attorney, family member or others. Phone calls are by collect call only. If an offender remains in Jail after the admission process, family members or friends must create an account with Paytel Inmate Phone Systems ( #1-800-729-8355) in order for the inmate to place outgoing collect calls.

What is the Mailing address of the Detention Facility?
Correspondence that is sent to an inmate must include the Inmate's Name, Booking Number and the return address of the sender on the outside of the envelope. Correspondence with no return address clearly marked on the outside will be secured and placed with the inmate's property.

How can I find out what an inmate has been charged with and what the bond amount is?

You can find this information out by contacting Inmate Reception at 386-586-4864 or 386-586-4871 during normal hours of 8 a.m.. - 5 p.m. on weekdays. After hours and on weekends you may contact Booking at 386-586-2200. Inmate charges and bond information can also be found on the agencies website atwww.flaglersheriff.com .

What can I bring to an Inmate?
Only money orders, prescription medication, plastic framed prescription eyeglasses and one set of court trial clothing can be brought to the facility. Inmates are provided with uniforms, footwear and personal hygiene items. Additional items such as underwear, t-shirts, tennis shoes, socks etc may be purchased through the inmate commissary. All prescription medication must be in its original container with the inmates name clearly marked and will be accepted 24 hours a day.

How do I find out an inmate's court date?
Misdemeanor offenders are provided with information on their next court appearance date before or immediately following their initial first appearance prior to being released from custody. Court appearances for offenders charged with a felony are provided by the Flagler County Clerk of Court. The misdemeanor section may be contacted at 386-313-4475, and the felony section at 386-313-4472.

Where can I get fingerprinted?
Fingerprints are conducted at the Palm Coast Precinct located in the City Market Place, 160 Cypress Point Parkway in Palm Coast. Call 386-586-2621 for further information.
